DEAD SQUAD: TEMPLE OF THE UNDEAD // DARKCOAST
What if you and your friends got lost in the jungle during a river rafting trip and stumbled upon a long lost ruin that full of the world’s most mysterious monsters? Could you escape the temple of the undead?

Los Angeles, CA – October 9, 2018 – Join American Horror Story’s Erika Ervin for the red carpet premiere and Q&A of ‘DEAD SQUAD: TEMPLE OF THE UNDEAD’ at Encino’s Laemmle Town Center 5 on October 21st.

Dominik Hauser’s directorial debut of DEAD SQUAD: TEMPLE OF THE UNDEAD is an epic zombie splatterfest, filled with horror adventure that harkens back to classic films of the early 80s. Filmed throughout exotic jungle locations, DEAD SQUAD follows a friends’ paradise getaway, which goes awry, becoming a deadly fight for survival inside an ancient temple of death.

“The film will be a lot of messy, bloody fun. Dominik Hauser has a twisted vision and the creature effects being built up by Movie Studio Bali are brining it to life. Camp horror fans will eat this one up,” said producer/director, Christopher Hatton (Battle of the Damned).

The stylized ‘80s horror-adventure features Erika Ervin as the ‘Zombie Queen’, notable for her role as Amazon Eve in American Horror Story: Freak Show. Standing at six-foot-eight, Ervin has been recognized as the world’s tallest model, headlining in over 30 countries and appearing in hundreds of publications. Alongside is the mysterious ‘Z-13’ (Conan Stevens), her seven-foot-tall Australian zombie king. Stevens is best known for The Hobbit and his portrayal of ‘The Mountain’ in HBO’s first season of Game of Thrones.

Larger than ever, Ervin and Stevens are set against the vast and beautiful jungle surrounding Movie Studio Bali, creating a reality of ultimate hell and fight for survival. “The King and Queen of a weird Dantean underworld. We’re doing things with them you haven’t seen before,” remarked Dominik Hauser (Gruesome Magazine).

Join Erika Ervin at the DEAD SQUAD premiere at the Laemmle Town Center 5 (17200 Ventura Blvd, Encino, CA 91316) on Oct. 21st. The red carpet will begin at 6:30 PM following the film’s start at 7:30 PM. After, there will be a Q&A with the director and various cast members, including Erika Ervin.
