Cherrystone Auctions has published all the prices it realized in its recently concluded March 2019 stamp auction on its website. And according to the published prices, the company seems to have hosted a very successful stamp sale for all the featured 1,577 lots.

NEW YORK CITY, New York – March 27, 2019 – Cherrystone Auctions realized excellent prices for all the 1,577 lots featured in its March 2019 public stamp sale. The company has published all the prices realized in the recently concluded public stamp auction on its website.

After hosting its third public stamp auction this year on March 12-13, 2019, Cherrystone Auctions has now published the prices realized by all the featured lots on its website. The public stamp sale was hosted at the company’s New York City galleries on March 12-13, 2019.

Cherrystone’s public stamp auction of U.S. and Worldwide Stamps and Postal History featured a total of 1,577 lots. Most of the lots fetched 100’s of dollars in the auction. A good number of the featured lots sold for several thousand dollars.

The March 12-13, 2019 stamp sale also featured some remarkable philatelic items that fetched very high prices. An 1869-1952 large collection of mostly complete sets, neatly arranged in two stock books, with British Levant, surcharges on Queen Victoria, KEVII and George V Seahorses and others was auctioned for a whopping $45,000. 1920-80 thousands of mostly complete sets and souvenir sheets, European Countries, Asia, South America, Africa and rest of the world fetched $25,000 at the recently concluded Cherrystone auction. A 1930 Zeppelin set of three bottom margin plate number blocks of six was sold for $9,000 and a 1933 Russian air post fetched a similar amount at the auction. Cherrystone Auctions is preparing to host its next public sale of U.S. and Worldwide Stamps and Postal History in May, 2019.
