El Cid Vacations Club is Proud to Host the 2019 Tom Garcia Golf Tournament
El Cid Vacations Club, Mexico’s award-winning vacation club and resort group is thrilled to welcome golfers of all skill levels who will be participating in the 2019 Tom Garcia Golf Tournament which will be held at El Cid Golf and Country Club in Mazatlán from March 29-31.
Located in Mazatlán’s Golden Zone and immaculately maintained, El Cid Golf and Country Club boasts a 27-hole, PGA-rated par 72 championship course. In addition to the Tom Garcia Golf Tournament, El Cid Golf & Country Club has been the host of multiple professional championships and tours including the Mexico PGA Tournament and the Canadian Tour.
The 2019 Tom Garcia Golf Tournament will officially kick off on March 29th with a practice and welcome party event as well as an approach tourney. The competition will take place the following two days with an award dinner held on the evening of the 31st. Golfers can compete in 7 different categories with a maximum number of 8 players in each. The lucky participant who sinks the first Hole in One during the event will receive $50,000 pesos in cash. Close-to-the-pin prizes include: $10,000 pesos in cash, El Cid stay certificates for its properties, fishing certificates, and spa certificates. ECVC members who wish to participate in the event have until March 28th to submit their discounted entry fee of $2,500 pesos. The event fee includes the practice day, welcome party, two days of competition, golf cart, courtesy drinks, and the awards dinner.
