Dennis Gaffin, PhD is Professor of anthropology at the State University of New York College Buffalo. In addition to the non-fiction books In Place: Spatial and Social Order in a Faeroe Islands Community and Running with the Fairies: Towards a Transpersonal Anthropology of Religion, he has written academic and popular journal articles. Born out of his scholarly work in comparative religion and his interests in Victorian times and the varieties of spiritual experience The Divinity Inquiry is his first novel. He currently lives in rural upstate New York and Toronto.
