TOUCH THE HEART PRODUCTIONS TO RELEASE ITS FIRST FRESNO FILM
Los Angeles, CA, USA – April 26, 2019 – Touch The Heart Productions, LLC. (TTHP) has proudly announced that it is now shooting its first Fresno feature. The upcoming film is entitled Growth which is all about ‘growth mindset’. Moreover, the film is created by renowned filmmaker Marcus D. Spencer, who is also the Founder and CEO of Touch The Heart Productions. Also known as ‘Big Spence’, Marcus has relocated from Los Angeles to the Fresno area after creating several inspiring productions in the past.
“To succeed, you must first begin,” is one of the main taglines of this project and that is why we are pleased to announce that we have officially began shooting ‘Growth’ in April 2019,” said Marcus D. Spencer while talking about his film project. “The film is being shot primarily at Elizabeth Terronez Middle School (Fresno, CA) and it is the first TTHP film to be shot in the Central Valley.” He added. TTHP is a faith-based production company that was started in Oakland California and it aims at not only entertaining but also educating the fans with inspiring lessons.
“The story of this film revolves around a group of middle school students that break into their school after their teacher refuses to support the student’s film making,” Spencer revealed during a recent interview. “The film discusses relationships, addictions, sexual identities and bullying, and we believe that we can inspire the next generation of students through this project,” he added. In addition to Growth, Marcus has also written, produced and directed several successful films such as Straight Outta Oakland, Straight Outta Oakland II and The American Dream.
Surprisingly, when Marcus is not acting or producing films, he is known as Mr. Spencer due to the fact that he’s a 7th grade Math teacher. The auditions for this film took place in March 2019 and they were held at Elizabeth Terronez Middle School. Fresh talent came from Los Angeles, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Fresno and neighboring cities to this audition and it was an overwhelming success.
