CKitchen.com Awards Scholarships to Students Pursuing a Higher Education

Brooklyn, NY – This year, CKitchen will be awarding one scholarship to a student pursuing a college education. The $5,000 prize can be used to help finance the student’s full–time study at any accredited institution they choose.

As a fully authorized food service supplies and equipment dealer, CKitchen is specifically looking to assist students studying applied sciences. They want to encourage America’s youth to thrive and innovate in this industry. With their financial incentive, CKitchen hopes their scholarship program will inspire students to seek out a career in biology, chemistry, computer engineering, and other related fields.

CKitchen’s scholarship program reflects their overall company mission. For each client they work with, they strive to provide the best service possible. Their commitment to their clients in the Brooklyn community translates well to their passion for inspiring local students. However the scholarship program is not just a community-inclusive effort. This opportunity extends beyond the Brooklyn area by being open to applicants across the United States. As CKitchen puts it, they are a company that seeks to represent U.S. identity and believes in the success of American youth.

CKitchen recognizes the financial burden college places on many students. Their scholarship program strives to relieve some of this stress so that students can focus on their studies. By making a college education more accessible to the winners of their scholarship, CKitchen is hoping to fund the next generation of applied science students get a head start in an industry they are passionate about.

Because the scholarship is merit-based, applicants must have a GPA of at least 3.0. Any student who is a U.S. citizen or permanent resident is eligible. Applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll at a college for fall of 2019 or spring of 2020.

The submission process for their scholarship program can be found at CKitchen’s website. Students must fill out an application form, write 500-700 words on a topic of their choice, and provide a copy of their transcript. Applications for the fall of 2019 scholarship must be submitted by August 20th. A panel of judges will review the applications, and the winner will be awarded by August 25th.

In case an interested student misses the fall period, CKitchen already has a scholarship set up for the spring of 2020. These applications must be submitted by December 20th of this year, and the winner will be awarded by December 23rd.  More information can be found on CKitchen’s website.
