Martin Luther King Multi-Purpose Center Offering Everyone an Opportunity to Leave a Legacy at Its Doorstep with the Pave the Path to the Future Brick Campaign

United States – The Martin Luther King Multi-Purpose Center is proud to announce its “Pave the Path to the Future Brick Campaign”. The Brick launch is in honor of the Rev. Dr.Martin Luther King Jr., for his sacrifice, humanity, and commitment to nonviolence, equality, unity and community engagement.

The event will take place on Sunday June 9th, 2019 at 110 Bethune Blvd, Spring Valley, New York, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Participants are expected to come to view their recently purchased bricks, and to add their own legacy to the pathway.

The main objective of the Martin Luther King Multi-Purpose Center is to help build the “Beloved Community” where all can prosper. The “Pave the Path to the Future Brick Campaign” is part of the organization’s efforts to raise funds, to ensure that the services which the Center provides will continue.

The Brick Launch will involve Phase 1 (installation) and Phase 2 (for new orders). The bricks can display names, logos or messages to the larger community. It’s a great opportunity for anyone participating to leave their legacy at the doorstep of this illustrious community organization.

The Brick Campaign will help the King Center to continue to preserve the ideals of non-violence, peace, human rights, social justice, and equality, thus keeping alive Dr. King’s dream of building a Beloved Community. Attendees will be treated to an evening of exciting entertainment and refreshments.

The Martin Luther King Multi-Purpose Center is a nonprofit, 501c3 community-based, organization. It was founded in 1964 to serve as the Spring Valley ‘Hill” community reading room, and was incorporated in 1978.
