The International Arts & Performance Foundation, Inc. (IAPF) recently cemented a unique relationship with Disney to orchestrate events and sell merchandise associated with the All New Mickey Mouse Club that aired for seven seasons in the 90s. The organization was aptly founded by a former Mouseketeer turned entrepreneur and philanthropist named Dale Godboldo.

LOS ANGELES, CA – IAPF supports projects, organizations and events that address poverty, inequality and climate change through media and entertainment. It chooses initiatives based on their alignment with the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals that promote prosperity while protecting the planet. IAPF’s offerings include socially conscious entrepreneurship training, star-studded red-carpet fundraisers for charity, merchandising partnerships and film and television production.

Through its unique collaboration with Disney, it helped Co-Executive Producers Chasen Hampton, Rick A. Morris, and Lisa Cannata orchestrate the Mickey Mouse Club Reunion at Walt Disney World Resort and MegaCon Orlando held earlier this month to raise money for a non-profit resort for critically ill children that Walt Disney World has supported for more than 30 years, along with a non-profit in Central Florida that promotes diversity and inclusion. IAPF also is the only vendor of recently re-released All New Mickey Mouse Club merchandise.

Before launching the IAPF, Godboldo was a member of the All New Mickey Mouse Club for four seasons, where he shared the stage with the likes of Justin Timberlake and Ryan Gosling, before going on to roles in dozens of other tv shows and films, including The People v. OJ Simpson.

“I’ve been an ambassador for Disney for almost 30 years. Through that relationship and the strength of Disney’s brand reputation, we are working together to do a lot of good in the world,” said Godboldo during recent interviews on Business Innovators Radio Network and in Small Business Trendsetters magazine.

“Businesses can be both profitable and socially impactful to improve the quality of life in communities around the globe. IAPF works to move humanity forward by organizing charitable initiatives and serving as a partner in programmatic expansion with both non-profit and socially conscious for-profit efforts,” he said. “I am able to leverage my Hollywood connections who truly believe in our philanthropic goals to help ensure success.”

Before Disney, the organization’s very first collaboration was for Project Now that provides educational programs and entrepreneurship training for youth in underserved communities. It was launched with support from both Presidents Clinton and Bush and stars like John Travolta, Halle Berry and Matthew McConaughey participated in associated events to raise awareness.

“I believe we’re primarily on this planet to serve. The collaborations we’ve built with Disney and others through the APF show that those who share that belief are everywhere. After all, what’s the point of making money beyond what you need for life’s necessities if you can’t use it to help others enjoy a measure of comfort and joy,” he added.
