NEW YORK CITY, New York – Sep 25, 2019 – Cherrystone Auctions is all set to host a public sale of the New Amsterdam Collection of United States Sheets on October 3, 2019. The upcoming specialty sale will feature lots 2,000-2,077.
Cherrystone Auctions is all ready to host a specialty sale of the New Amsterdam Collection of United States Sheets and Multiples at the company’s galleries at 119 West 57th Street, Suite 316, New York, NY 10019. The upcoming public stamp auction will take place on October 3, 2019, starting from 1:00 PM. A total; of 77 lots are featured in the sale including a selection of rare sheets. There are several 1851 3c dull red (Scott 11), Columbian exposition lots including 15c, 30c, and 50c in panes of a hundred. The collection also features $1 pane of 50 Trans-Mississippi, Pan-American, Panama-Pacific, Jamestown, and the Louisiana Purchase. There is also a Kansas-Nebraska set among many other rare commemoratives.
Cherrystone Auctions will sell many rare selections and regular issues in its upcoming specialty sale of the New Amsterdam Collection of United States Sheets. Some of the rare regular issues in this sale include 500, 519, 578, 579, 595, and many others. The collection includes complete sheets of Air Post with C1-6 and C13-15 Zeppelin Issues in panes of 50.
