UNCNGGF “Zero Carbon for Good” Forum Meeting to Promote Zero Carbon Action for 8 Billion People Worldwide
The Carbon Neutral Global Green Foundation’s “Zero Carbon Public Benefit” online conference was held in August, aiming to promote the low-carbon development of the global economy through the implementation of national carbon reduction public benefit projects, low-carbon emission reduction education and training and other practical actions.
In order to achieve this goal, the Carbon Neutral Global Green Foundation’s “Zero Carbon Public Benefit · Reduce Carbon Footprint” public benefit activity will be officially launched on September 16, the United Nations “International Day for the Protection of the Ozone Layer”, leading 8 billion people around the world to take low-carbon actions to protect the ozone layer and jointly combat climate change.

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said in the “Zero Emissions Dialogue Tour” that to alleviate the environmental crisis and solve the problem of climate change, it is imperative to mobilize businesses, cities, regions and investors to support zero carbon emissions.
Human activities such as the burning of fossil fuels, industrial production and transportation will release a large amount of greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide, leading to global climate change. Carbon neutrality can offset or reduce the carbon emissions produced by these human activities.
UNCNGGF’s Zero Carbon Fund can be used to support projects in renewable energy, energy efficiency, forest conservation and restoration, carbon capture and storage technologies, and to develop carbon market mechanisms such as emissions trading, carbon taxes, and carbon offsets.
